About this campaign
1 FOR 1 CAMPAIGN
Cambodia’s economy has taken a tremendous hit due to the temporary ban on international travel as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although Cambodia’s cases have remained low, the pandemic has amplified the country’s struggle against poverty. Tourism is one of Cambodia’s main drivers for economic growth, providing thousands of local people and communities with jobs, food and long-term security. However, the lack of bustling hot spots and tourists has left the local people and businesses struggling to keep afloat. As a result many have lost jobs and had to close up shop to find livelihood elsewhere, many unfortunately unable to do so.
The Song Saa Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2013 to protect the habitats of the Koh Rong Archipelago and improve the welfare of its communities.
We are seeking amazing supporters to help us continue serving our amazing Cambodian community in Prek Svay to deliver educational projects, healthcare initiatives and conservation activities.
