About this campaign
The Corona virus pandemic has affected the world at large and Cameroon in particular health wise and economically. The pandemic has affected many communities in my country making it difficult for them to get basic needs such as food and education. Those in the villages are heavily affected in such a way that children are unable to return back to school and they don't even have a means to prevent the virus. That's why we the Cameroon Youths in Development have launched this initiative to help local kids return back to school by providing 5 books and 5 face marks for each local kid. Our goal is to help 500 kids in 10 different communities.
Use of Funds
The funds we are seeking for is to buy books, face marks and to transport volunteers that will help distribute the materials.
*1 book cost $1.79, 5 books per child will cost $8.95. Therefore for 500 kids it will cost $4476.15
* 1 face mark cost $0.90, 5 for one kid will cost $4.48. Therefore for 500 children it will cost $2238.08
*$447.62 for transportation and feeding of volunteers that will distribute the materials
