WIRIO is a grassroots organization that serves the local Maasai, Kisii, & Luo communities. Volunteers who join this group will work on various projects that help the local community in reducing poverty by helping the local population with income generating projects like beekeeping, horticultural farming and more. Volunteers will participate in activities such as teaching, empowerment, mentorship, environmental conservation, waste management and more.

We have initiated several project within the Maasai, Kisii and Luo communities. These projects includes agroforestry, tree planting and women empowerment projects. Community empowerment is the key in this respect. WIRIO has also initiated educational center for the needy children. The organization has also arranged safari trips since it's based not far from the famous 8th wonder of the world -- the Maasai Mara Game Reserve!

RIDO

We are a nonprofit organisation with a mandate to operate in the Masaka District in Uganda (Masaka District Local Government -CD5421). RIDO was established in 2007 to spread awareness about HIV/AIDS. We later expanded our activities to include tackling environmental issues, while also working hand-in-hand with local communities.
