AICOD was formed in 2009 as community based organisation to respond to the needs and challenges of disadvantaged children due to disability,HIV/AIDS, Poverty and hunger. We use community based approach to reach out to our beneficiaries. Our main target are children with disabilities aged -1 to 25 years.
Children with disabilities mainly suffer from limited access to education, healthcare services and employment opportunities leading to economic and social exclusion. It is also noted that such cchallenges do not only make these children vulnerable but also limit their productive potentials and alternatives in life and thus live and die with resignation and self pity.
