All Life Matters Association - A.L.M.A.
Our mission is to help animals in the county of Caras-Severin, in Romania, a county that is primarily rural, and where the education and civilization levels are very low, in the hope that rural and remote communities will continue on a path of becoming a more humane society for all animals.
What We Need
Our organization is focused both on animal rescue and also on improving life quality for marginalized communities and easing access to education to the children of such communities. Funds have always been a problem, but one of our projects is developing a social enterprise that can yield revenue. We need help in organizing events with a bright, positive message, fundraising, good visual identity, accessing grants teaching programs, educational resources, adult education, organizing arts and crafts and music events. Our team is a team of two people for whom 24 hours is way to short to get all tasks done. Thank you.

Additional Info about Us
Rural areas, small towns and villages of Romania are the primary source of unwanted litters of puppies and the source for continuous breeding of mongrels, which will inevitably end on the streets. Because the financial resources and veterinary services in the rural areas are limited, and so is population education, the dogs in the villages are unsterilized, starving and homeless or let by owners to roam and breed freely. Countless others face horrific deaths, being poisoned, shot or hanged in what is thought to be a "reasonable" way to control overpopulation problems.
The sad reality in the rural and remote communities is that animal welfare has never been a priority and there are very few appropriate homes. Our mission is to help animals that face this harsh reality in the county of Caras-Severin, in Romania, a county that is primarily rural, and where the education and civilization levels are very low, in the hope that rural and remote communities will continue on a path of becoming a more humane society for all animals.
