Believe in tomorrow community empowerment foundation (BETEF) was established in the year 2013 by an initiative of SOCIAL CONCERNING YOUTHS as a VOLUNTARY Non-governmental organization with an aim to uplift and change the life scripts of the poor communities in their home communities.
Volunteering Activities
What We Need
A volunteer must be somehow skilled or experienced in the following social development works. Community mobilization, sensitization and facilitation, Projects planning, designing and implementation especially for the socially marginalized population and the most vulnerable. Able to work in rural areas with an agenda of bringing positive change to the lives of the needing communities.
Fundraising skills is an added advantage most especially able to make the community raise funds for the sustainable development. Working hand in hand with various partners including the donors and be accountable and transparent.
Children are the future of our world, respect of their rights and loving them is a humanitarian act.
At Betef Uganda, we welcome more skilled and experienced people and those passionate enough to use their skills and bring create an impact.
When & Who
What we Provide
We can provide accommodation and meals depending on the area. However, the meals provided are local and any volunteer with a preferred special type of meals will have to incur the extra costs. Accommodation is also not that expensive though security is guaranteed to live in a peaceful community.

In BETEF we thrive to raise a new generation who become agents for the future generations in our communities through community empowerment initiatives. As such, BETEF welcomes and encourages participation of all social-concerning personalities from all corners of the world.
The organization’s work focuses on affordable Community Based Health care for all, HIV/AIDS Prevention, psychosocial support, Water and Sanitation, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Reproductive Health rights and General Community Development.
BETEF partners with various NGOs, Local governments, Faith Based Organizations, Community based organisations, International NGOs and different Policy makers to empower and witness a sustainable social development change in Uganda.
