Volunteers may teach a variety of subjects, but are primarily useful for their English speaking skills. Children benefit greatly from volunteers who can bring a variety of perspectives to the classroom. This program does not require teaching experience, though it may be helpful.

2. DEVELOPMENT VOLUNTEERS
volunteers or interns who want to use their skills to improve the operations of the organization. Development volunteers and interns work on projects such as grant writing, fundraising, strengthening the organization’s structure, spearheading new initiatives, website management, human resources, and working to build partnerships with other organizations.
3. Health Support:
Interested participants are welcome to provide health assistance to sick children in the school as well as screening for various health conditions and ailments, including; reading clinic where children would have eye screening service, checking for blood pressure and hypertension, blood sugar test for diabetes, hepatitis B , Rapid Diagnostic Test for malaria , body mass index and mental screening
It is better and cheaper to detect eye problems in children. You save them the agony of pain and inability to read and most importantly visually impairment in adulthood
Volunteers can also provide health education on the prevention of illness like malaria, cholera, hypertension, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis and good sanitation practices.
Required Skills: Applicants interested to join this program must possess healthcare certification, such as: ID as a medical student, nursing, physical therapy or physician’s credentials. We do not permit volunteers without medical credentials to participate in this program due to the potential risk. This program also requires a copy of the volunteer’s resume which clearly documents the education and/or professional credentials, prior to arrival. The program will also require an official copy of the credentials.
