Bridgers Association Cameroon
What We Need
We would like to receive volunteers to work with our team on daily basis in the office as well as in the field to realize exciting projects that have an impact on a small scale, as well as on a large scale. Our volunteers will be given the opportunity to develop their own project(s). This can and should be a labour of love, something that you are personally concerned and passionate about. You will go through the whole process:, from the development to the realisation and evaluation of your own project. You will be guided and assisted through that process at all times through our team. You will learn project-writing, skills of seeking funding and starting a fund-raising campaign (for example through crowdfunding) as well as social skills (such as public speaking or agricultural practices). Furthermore, you will get interesting insights into how to run an NGO successfully and you will learn every aspect in the work of our Organization before the end of your stay with us.
Volunteers will work on our website as well as social media channels, depending on their flexibility and skills. They can get the opportunity to attend interesting conferences (if available) and organize workshops. This job demands creativity and social skills. You will be working independent and self-organized, but we ensure you that you are never left alone. You will profit from great supervision at all times. The atmosphere in our office and team is relaxed and easy-going. We will happily support you in any way we can, also beside the work in the office.
