BUVOCOD works with Volunteers to achieve our aims and Mission I.e.:
Mitigating the social, economic, political and spiritual causes of all sorts of vulnerabilities in communities through lobbying and advocacy, Volunteer Placements, capacity building, community empowerment and monitoring.
Volunteering Activities
What We Need
Volunteer and Internship Opportunities are available in our rural and urban areas where we operate and our Programs range from Humanitarian-tourism, grant writing, fund researching, Education, Literacy and Teaching, Environment conservation and Wildlife Conservation, Construction, WASH programs and Youth Support Project.
When & Who
What we Provide
We provide Break fast,Lunch and Dinner,our Volunteers Live in Well furnished Apartments or if they like to stay with Host families we can arrange that and staying with a host family is free of charge volunteers don't pay for accommodation with host families apart from contributing towards daily meals.

Busoga Volunteers for Community Development (BUVOCOD) is a humanitarian non-profit, of Community Based Organizations’ network in Busoga Sub region struggling to bring about visible and positive transformation at the grassroots with a vision of Empowering communities and Changing Lives through promoting sustainable livelihoods, Volunteerism, networking, advocacy,access to water hygiene facilities and sanitation and capacity building.
