Our staff oversee the day to day running of our activities and more often work as field workers. They plan the activities of the organisation with the community and and seek for means to implement them. They also act as trainers


Volunteers work with and in the community. This means they stay with the community. We provide housing to them but any volunteer has the right to stay there or decide where s/he would love to stay.

CANU Association Cameroon- a nonpolitical, non-religious inclined and not for profit association- started in 2008 in Bafut North West Region Cameroon, as an assistance group to the ageing. Not long after, there was need to carter for the increasing number of children especially low income families. The group then decided not to limit its assistance only to the ageing but also to include the vulnerable children-those who needed assistance. Since then, the group has been working with a number of community development projects aimed at giving a better life style to the people especially the marginalized. Care of the Ageing, Needy and the Underprivileged” persons in some rural communities in the country. "CANU" was then created on the 27th April 2013 and it operates with Authorization No: 1220/2013/RDA/C19/SAAJP of 17th December 2013.
