Change African Child International is a non governmental, non profit organization with its goal to support both the infected and affected people with HIV/AIDS and other related diseases.
Resource mobilization, Home visits to orphans and vulnerable children and people living with HIV/AIDS, psychosocial supportive counseling, Teaching English to infants and Adults, Craft making website designing and Administration.
Please note that we are NOT an orphanage and we do not work with orphanages, but we support orphaned children living with their families.
Volunteer program cover:

Accounts office: managing and handling of organization funds and give feedback reports to the directors and board.
As most students or volunteers find it difficult to organize accommodation for an internship overseas, we will assist you with this, in order to make your preparations as convenient as possible. We can arrange a host family for you or book a room at the good Hotel, according to your preference. The advantage of staying in a host family (besides the financial aspect) is that you will be more integrated in the culture of Uganda. We will find a host family in Ndejje-Lubugumu along Enttebe road or in outlying communities. Either way, taxis’ are easily accessible at 1$ to and from the offices of CACI, depart every five minutes and can be found within walking distance. If you prefer the Pal Suits Hotel, it is convenient with good security located on Zzana Entebbe road.

YES to certain activities like teaching is seasonal especially in the learning center and skill training while for adult literacy is year around. for seasonal teaching ranges from Mid January to June and also August to 5th December in every year.
However for field visits to families and community we work in it is year round as well as the office work and groups of women and refugees.
