We are a group of volunteers in Cordillera Region protecting and saving animals.
Cordillera Animal Protection Advocates Inc. is a non-profit organization composed of professionals and animal enthusiasts who are Baguio based. Members come from different age group where some are students, family members, and working professionals. It is a SEC registered organization founded on February 6, 2017 and has been actively reaching its goals and objectives for the wellness of domesticated animals in the community of Baguio City and La Trinidad area. The group is guided by the Philippine Animal Welfare Act and actively promoting responsible pet ownership through educational programs and conducting free animal vaccinations to all sorts of Barangays in the community. The organization at its birth has been relying to its members and sponsors to accumulate funds in pursuing the mission of the organization. The commitment and dedication of its members and supporters are the organization’s key to achieve our vision. One of these is veterinary group of volunteers from Benguet State University who are openly assisting CAPA with various programs. For now, the organization does not have any shelters. Rescued animals are fostered by its members and taken home for proper care and attention. When ready for adoption, CAPA does the necessary to promote animal welfare act. CAPA aims to give adequate knowledge and implant it to the minds of residence in the community of Baguio City about the importance of responsibility and compassion to animals.
