Free Health camp volunteers, Disabled daycare center volunteers, Short term medical internships,
When & Who
Schools are closed for one month from March to April and then again from June to July.
Building projects will only run from November to March to avoid the monsoon rains.
Free health camps run mostly in the summer months of July and August
What we Provide
All EHN projects require the volunteer to stay with a family while volunteering and in a guesthouse when in Kathmandu.
The meals are mostly rice and vegetables twice a day EVERY day. It is a simple way of life but, for us, it's both eco-friendly and beautiful.
£15 a day (about $19/day) covers accommodation and 2 meals a day at the project location.
Volunteers are required to pay a £80 (about $106) admin fee which is used for the first 2 nights in KTM plus the last night, food, accommodation, and a city tour.
More Services we Offer
All volunteers are expected to do their own laundry which will be by hand and please be aware all water is cold in Nepali villages including showers!
EHN will pick up the volunteer from the airport and provide 2 nights accommodation with food and a city tour before sending them to their project.
Other Ways to Help
Pens, Pencils, Rubbers, Rulers, First Aid equipment and supplies

Education and Health Nepal is a 3-year-old charity working with local government schools and child care projects in Nepal. We believe that working in government schools rather than private schools translates to helping the less advantaged children obtain a better level of education for free.
Education and Health Nepal is a registered Non-Profit in both Nepal and the UK.
