RISE Rwanda was founded and registered as a non-profit Community Based Organization in Rwanda in 2014. It was established with a mandate to help and support disadvantaged children, sustain livelihoods and human rights for the most vulnerable members of the community. The vulnerable children may be orphaned, neglected, school dropouts, abandoned or simply living in acute poverty and are frequently affected by the ravages of HIV/AIDS.
To empower and support hundreds of orphans and vulnerable children with quality education, discipline practical skills for self reliance in order to be acceptable.
To contribute to the promotion of socioeconomic development through support to education and health initiatives, community empowerment and promotion of good cultural values and practices.
Our aim is to promote community development and well-being by strengthening business development skills and climate change resilience. Currently we are working in western province of Rwanda, Musanze District with tree women farmers associations
Volunteers on this program can expect to help in every aspect of this farmers association, from assisting with tending the land, harvesting crops, selling crops at local markets. Volunteers may also be called upon to train women farmers in business skills development
Happy to join giving way team!
