Travel advice in Ecuador, special prices on tourist activities, guided hikes and expeditions, weekend trips to ther places in Ecuador cook'outs and campfire nights. Volcano viewing and happy gatherings are all part of the Arte del Mundo voluntourism experince.

Our goal is to offer ongoing classes, workshops and events in all aspects of the arts that will serve toward building self-confidence and vision within the cultural context of the region. With the help of the public, local businesses, international supporters and volunteers we develop cultural projects throughout the community in collaboration with other foundations and schools in the area.

For the past 6 years we have provided a free children's library for the children of Baños de Agua Santa - lovingly known here as La BIB - which is short for La Biblioteca Interactiva de Baños and in English - "The Interactive Library of Baños." On our shelves we offer over 1200 Spanish language children's books that we have received thru in kind donations or have purchased with other donated money.

The library is the home of the After School Arts Center. From 4:30 to 6 PM daily we offer art and creative experiences for children 6 to 12 years old. These activities are inspired by the talents of the volunteers who also staff the program. Activities have included art, music, dance, theater games, yoga, science experiments, games, dress up, and cooking.

We have a theater – with the help of volunteer labor and dollars, we have been able to renovate the large garage space on our leased premises into a classic “black box” theater. The theater is complete with a dressing room and essential sound and lighting systems. There is also projection equipment and a large movie screen.
