Give Hope Uganda (GHU) is an Indigenous registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO) with Kira Municipality under registration number: WCBO/1955/17.

One of the best things about volunteering at GIVE HOPE UGANDA is that there are no administrative costs. GIVE HOPE UGANDA is dedicated to putting all money possible toward supporting education, youths and entire community. To that end, we charge minimal fees which cover volunteers' food and board, and in the first 3 months, include a built-in donation to the projects of your choice in the community.
The below costs are all in USD:
Under three weeks: $250
First month: $350
Second month: $250
Third month: $150
Subsequent months: $100
Airport transfer (each way): $100

Our organization is comprises of many services that can be done here. One of them is child care facility is looking for a caring, compassionate Child Care volunteers who has experience caring for children ages two to twelve years. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for students who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. If you are a patient, caring professional with a background in child care, we hope you will get in touch about this opportunity.
To;- Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe
Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning
Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations
Prepare and serve meals and monitor children during lunch time
High school diploma/GED required
3+ years’ child care experience
Possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications not a MUST
Ability to pass background check and drug screening required
Caring and compassionate attitude a must
1. Laptops to teach rural children in computer lessons
2. Clothes for children of different ages and poor women
3. Shoes and slippers or sanders
4. Washable Sanitary pads for poor rural girls
5. Reading or story books for children and youths
7. Basic medical supplies like plasters, gloves, masks, sponges, gauze, deworming, pain killers,pressure and malaria tablets, any others that can help the rural communities
8. Bicycles (changers/bikes) etc
9. Children's toys for play therapy
10. Balls including volley balls, netball and football, tennis and other sporting items
Additional Info about Us
Executive Director - Create a Vision ,Lead and Manage,Engage the Community, Manage Financial/Fundraising Affairs , Support the Board of Directors. Coordinator - Makes and implements development programs of staff, the schedule of training for volunteers, the right tools and methods in the organization
Prepares the needed materials, submitting reports, handling the correspondence and drafting the evaluations, schedule the meetings within the organization.
Assists volunteers in developing ideas

We work in community to support and uplift peoples standards of living by providing projects like Education, Youths Empowerment, Community Development, Social Works, Teaching, Child Care and Women Empowerment on how to save through creation of their own SACCO's, giving back to children and infants who have been infected and affected by HIV/AIDS by providing with them scholastic materials has they go back to school. Our projects are located in Bweyogerere Sub County/ Town Council/Division Kirinya Parish/Ward Bukasa Village in Kira Municipal Council, in Wakiso District.
