Good Shepherd Academy (GSA) is a Christian-based not for profit private entity in affiliation with Good Shepherd College and Seminary South Sudan (GSCS). Founded in 2013, with its beautiful facility in Gumbo Shirkat in Juba, the academy has the capacity to accommodate 210 pupils. GSA aims for affordable and quality Christian-based education with extra commitment for emergency education to the displaced children in Juba. With support of parents and scholarship opportunities, GSA enrolls children ages 3 to 14 years. Recreational facility, meals and transportation are made available. The academy is considerate to children with psychical challenge.
Administered by board of directors on Christian values, competent teachers with early childhood education experiences, and in collaboration with parents and community, GSA is committed to provision of faith-based education open to all children. No child is segregated based on culture, tribe, race, region or geographical locations.
Legally, the academy is incorporated and registered as a subsidiary of GSCS by the Ministries of Justice and Education. Following South Sudan curriculum and calendar, the academy embraces collaboration with like-minded institutions and groups, which value education.
