What We Need

We need volunteers who have a huge passion for community service, who can work in remote and rural communities with an open mind to learn and share best practices with the rest of our team and the community. We need volunteers who demonstrate huge flexibility, good team players, able to communicate well in English and especially volunteers who are passionate about bringing change and impacting the lives of vulnerable and underprivileged groups.

What we Provide

Types: Homestay, Guesthouse

Volunteers are hosted by our staffs and volunteers but we also lodge volunteers in guest house depending on their needs, There are good hotels, guest houses at very good affordable prices in Bamenda if you wish to join the program.

Our Fees

The one-time fees is used to support our different community development programs for sustainability and to support the administration of the organisation.

Social Activities

We provide additional services to volunteers such as social activities including weekend outings, orientation, tours, networking opportunities etc. These services are included in the daily fee paid by the volunteer. We do not label any additional charges to the extra-services offered by volunteers.

H4BF is run by a group of young, versatile and enthusiastic young Cameroonian with a 6 man board of directors who are responsible for the overseeing and supervising the activities of the organization, there is the executive director who heads the organisation and direct and coordinate her activities and then the programs coordinator who is responsible for managing all projects/programs activities including all projects constraints such as cost, scheduled, risk, human resources, quality, procure



H4BF CAMEROON (Hope For A Better Future) is a Non-Governmental Organization constituted by professionals since January 2009 and legalized in 2017 under the Cameroon authorization number 17/182/CMR/NW/38/204/CCA/040000/0400004 to meet up with the developmental challenges facing the Rural Communities in Cameroon, with commitment and professional inputs backed by professional knowledge of the development dynamics of the contemporary Cameroon.
