Additional Info about Us
We offer a personalised volunteering experience and make sure that we spend time with our volunteers and give them enough work to learn and contribute to. While the mentoring process is prioritised we do not like to spoon feed our volunteers and like them to take independent initiatives and ownership of the work given to them.
We are a Registered Public Charitable Trust that works on gender, environment, social and sustainable development issues and human rights of marginalised and low-income communities across rural and urban India. Our strategies include knowledge and capacity building and community interventions towards gender equity and social justice, information and networking to strengthen social action processes and livelihood support through enterprise promotion. Through a cross-cutting analysis of class, caste, gender, religion & region in our work along with rights of differently abled and older persons, we aim to make development theory & practice, holistic, people-oriented & accountable. Our partners include women’s and youth groups; national and international civil society organisations; individual activists, students, academicians, media persons and performing artists.
