No Minimum stay. Its recommended that volunteers stay more than a week.
At Maya we provide 2 Nepali meals and a lunch snack daily. We live in a hostel environment, simple bedding is provided. Private rooms in village homes are also available on a first come first served basis.
Transport from Kathmandu to Tanahun is available upon request at a price of 150$
10$ per day covers food, accommodation and a contribution to paying local staff salaries. Long term volunteers staying over 3 months can stay for free thereafter (after 90 days).

Established in 2011, Maya Universe now has 3 schools, including one boarding school with over 400 students. The exchange of time from parents helps the schools sustainability and growth. The parents time is used in agriculture, animal husbandry and handicrafts, from which products are sold into market at profit for the school. Maya aims to provide education to more students and increase the accessibility to quality education in more locations around Nepal.
