We provide Hostels that is much suitable to our volunteers with Hostel of 4 people per room, 2 people per room and 1 person per room.

$21 daily

Fees cover Accommodation, Hostel Security, Communication during internship, Transportation, Visit one National Park and Cost for Volunteer counterpart.

Mikoko Development Foundation is a youth organization leading in conservation, entrepreneurship and environmental programs in Tanzania centered at Ubungo, Dar es salaam. The vision of Mikoko Development Foundation is to develop Tanzania young people’s minds towards international field of vision and lead the international students to get to know Tanzania and conservation of nature and environment. The goal is to encourage individuals to broaden their views of what the world is all about and make opportunities to experience different cultures and become exposed to nature and environment with the basic skills of entrepreneurship.

Mikoko Development Foundation is a national conservation organization in Tanzania dealing with conservation, eco-tourism, capacity building and entrepreneurship to the local communities across forest and management areas to promote “creating green habitable environment” frame work into a local level of community. An MDF have more than 50,000 members to organize other local youth groups/clubs to develop critical understanding of conservation strategies provided by Mikoko Development Foundation through Mikoko National Environmental Program.

Mikoko Development Foundation had established many other projects to make sure the conservation strategies at the local level are well improved and the forest managed areas are well protected by the local communities. Mikoko Development Foundation has the following projects
