Muyu Semilla de Selva
What We Need
The volunteer program is currently being developed near the buffer zone of the Llanganates National Park, accessing via the Puyo - Tena road, to the indigenous community Simón Bolívar, here part of the activities are carried out for us, promoting the rescue of the Kichwa culture, working in environmental education with the children, teaching english and initiating activities of ecotourism, community and workshops.
Normally volunteers stay with one family from the community once a week, helping them with their normal activities in the field, it's very interesting the cultural exchange!
The other part of the activities takes place on the property of Muyu, which is located on the other side of the Anzu River. Here we work on the ecological reserve, making and keeping trails, reforestation and keeping the plants, biodiversity research and developing organic agriculture.
