We are a small team of social workers dedicated to helping Nepali people in need. Our team formed in the aftermath of the 7.8 earthquake that devastated much of Nepal in April, 2015. The natural disaster took almost 9,000 lives and destroyed 590,000 homes. The dire situation brought our team of locals and foreigners together in an effort to provide survivors with the necessary emergency aid. We began by distributing relief materials to over 8,000 individuals across 8 districts and continued by providing long-term solutions for earthquake safety. In addition to earthquake safe housing, Nepali for Nepali aims to supply those affected by natural disasters with immediate assistance.
