We are looking for volunteers to teach disadvantaged children in the northern provinces of Thailand, in cities such as Chiang Rai and Nan. We help poor, underprivileged children develop their analytical and English-speaking skills using methods employed in international schools.
Volunteers will teach five different subjects (Math, English, Health education, Social studies, and Science) in English using our lesson videos. Volunteers will manage a classroom of 10 – 20 children in grades 1 and 2 for 4 hours a day.
- Aged 20 and up
- Fluent in English
- Have a degree or currently a college student
- Possess a basic knowledge of computers
Meals will be provided by the host family.
Our program is free
For volunteers staying for more than 2 months: we can support them with proper documents for their visa and work permit.
For volunteers staying for 5 months, 9 months, or the whole school year: we offer a reimbursement package.
During the weekends, volunteers can spend time exploring northern Thailand and countries nearby (Laos and Myanmar).
We connect with around ten schools in northern Thailand.
We embrace the uniqueness of an English as a Second Language (ESL) classroom and use it to our full advantage. We are regularly discovering and implementing new methods to engage students who possess different learning styles and hold unique backgrounds. Furthermore, we continuously develop new technology to facilitate our teaching.
