Pyunli was registered in Nov 2015 (Regd No-21/2015-2016) which believes in the process of social change through child education & women empowerment. Promoting volunteerism to build an international network. Area of function is a small town of Uttarakhand named Gauchar, 05 hrs drive from Rishikesh. . Pyunli is inspired by the noble tradition of ‘service before self’ working for promoting volunteerism internationally especially among children and women, building an international network. Main area of function is a small town of Uttarakhand named Gauchar which is situated on the left bank of river Alaknanda and is en route the celebrated holy destination of Badrinath. The town is approx 5 hrs drive from Rishikesh. Started with just high spirits and dedication, Pyunli set out on its mission to help every child gain a quality education regardless to their economic or social standing. Pyunli also focus on capacity building and skills up gradation of rural people specially women and children. It also emphasizes on human resource development by nurturing local talents and resources with various development skills through training workshops and learning exposures.
Teaching kids, English, any foreign language, yoga, music, art, craft, origami, dance etc. We take volunteers to local primary schools to teach the rural children some basic english, other language and any other subjects which they can. We also need volunteers who can do wall paintings, graffiti, photography etc...
Local tours, Hindi classes, cooking classes
We only charge for accommodation and meals. Volunteers can stay in newly built homestay with the family. We can even give a separate kitchen to volunteers who want to cook their own meals. If volunteers want to eat with the family then we can also provide it. Lunch/Dinner consists of daal, sabji, rice, chapati, dahi & salad. The meals are freshly home cooked.
Pyunli need online volunteers to promote it on various platforms such as Facebook. We also need help in creating a website so that we can reach to maximum people. We also need volunteers who can promote Pyunli and help in sending volunteers.
