The Lake Clinic-Cambodia provides basic health services and health education to some of the most isolated and remote communities in Cambodia; those living in floating villages on the Tonle Sap Lake and its tributaries.
The Lake Clinic-Cambodia is a local Cambodian non-governmental organization (LNGO) that was registered with the Cambodian Ministry of Interior in 2007, and has worked under a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cambodian Ministry of Health since 2007 as well. We operate from 5 floating clinics, 4 on the Tonle Sap Lake and 1 on the Stung Sen River, with two clinical teams composed of Cambodian health professionals.
The Lake Clinic-Cambodia, TLC, is supported entirely through individual donations and small foundations' support. TLC was founded by Jon Morgan, RN, MPH, in 2007. Jon is also the founding director of The Angkor Hospital for Children also in Siem Reap Cambodia.
