We promote the participation of both national and foreign people in specific volunteer projects and activities, in which they can not only collaborate but also acquire knowledge of the country.

What We Need

Interested in working with and supporting different conservation programs? You can choose where you wish to participate (marine turtles, research, wildlife and wildlife monitoring, eco-tourism, and environmental education). You will be given these options when requesting to volunteer, so that you can choose what you prefer. You will also be given a list of specific projects, with the time of duration and the area provided, so that you can pick according to your expectations.

There are projects and activities open throughout the year.

When & Who

Yes, we require a minimum of 2 Weeks
The minimum participation period is 12 days. There is no maximum. In the case of the research projects, however, the time will depend of the completion of the project (minimum one month).

What we Provide

Types: Vegetarian

The food is the typical Costa Rican and fruits and vegetables.

If you are a vegetarian, this is no problem. We can make it work.

Volunteers and Projects is a program that collaborates with the National System of Conservation Areas of Costa Rica. It allows those interested to know and support the different conservation programs (Marine Turtles, Research, Wildlife and Wildlife Monitoring, Eco-Tourism, and Environmental Education).

Our program gives you the opportunity to closely come to know Costa Rica's biodiversity and its management of the wildlife protected areas. You will be cooperating with the National System of Conservation Areas of Costa Rica to protect the natural resources of the areas.
