Volunteering Activities
What We Need
The following are the volunteering work we need:
In Administration with management skills in different levels of administration and skills in matters of Monitoring and Evaluation and others.
In Environment Conservation work with knowledge and skills in Environmental mitigation and adaptation.
In fundraising, structuring and improving fundraising opportunities
In Healthcare to have knowledge and skills on prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Drug abuse and matters of SRHR.
In Sports, motivation and encouragement of youth and students to participate in sports of different types to improve the mental and physical health.
In Teaching vocational training, vocational training including tailoring training, IT training, Carpentry training, welding training and fish farming.
In Research, to research for solutions for poverty eradication among youth.
When & Who
What we Provide
Each volunteer will his/her own room. The volunteer house is fenced with security, also the house has water and electricity supply.
The meals include Breakfast, Lunch, Supper and Dinner.

Pretrip Assistance includes a letter for recommendation for Visa to come and volunteer is free, Pick up/Drop off from airport to office is also free, Orientation is also offered for free, Social activities such as playing football, Mwanza live biking tour, day out with staffs is also free and other social activities are free.
Safari Tours of different routes from Mwanza with different costs (to be paid by volunteers who need Safari tours according to safari route of their choose) below:

Additional Info about Us
The permanent staff's duties is in accordance to their post and currently the permanent staff's duties are those for Director, Head of programs, Finance and Administration manager, Youth Program Manager, Youth Program Officer, Education and Gender Program officer, Environment Program Officer. Hence they perform their duties in accordance to their post.
Amazingly! the organization that started in 2012 as a CBO with youth meetings in a classroom weekly has since grown from strength to strength to owning an office and equipment such as tailoring machines, computers and carpentry tools for training youth! Then In august 2018 YEV was registered as a national NGO. More over in 2019 our operation has been extended beyond Mwanza region, thus we have opened up our branch office in Geita region.
General objectives as described below:-
Enhancing youth empowerment in all aspects of life, by equipping youth with different knowledge, skills (tailoring, ICT, carpentry, metal works and motor mechanical works), basic materials and adequate information for enhancing youth empowerment.
YEV undertakes policy lobbying and advocacy on the matter related to youth development in Mwanza region and across Tanzania.
Enhancing sustainable environmental conservation and protection in Mwanza region and across Tanzania through equipping youth and the community members with good knowledge, skills, basic materials and significant information on improving the environmental conservation. Thus YEV undertakes policy lobbying and advocacy on various matters related to environmental conservation and protection in Mwanza region and all over Tanzania.
