I care deeply about efforts to alleviate poverty that focus on systemic change and are community driven. I have a particular interest in rural and indigenous communities. I believe relationships and capacity building are essential elements for initiatives that seek to create and do good. In most of my roles I support systems thinking, strategy, capacity building, and/or project development and management. I seek to be involved in ground level efforts - believing that our deepest issues are best served through grassroots efforts.
Much of my focus is spent on education. Currently, I am digging into the history of ed and of innovation, design thinking, and the role of interactive digital media in learning. All to re-think and change schooling, and help write a new story for learning structures and ultimately our education system.
I am an avid learner, reader, and continually seek to build my creative thinking and skills.
