Public speaking and teaching
Sample experiences: Assisted rural clinics while teaching in the Caribbean region (Belize & Nevis). Volunteered with a US non-profit serving special needs individuals who have aged out of "the system". Created an organization pairing medical school students with individuals with co-morbidities discharged from acute care facilities to communities without health care resources or support (in Mexico and St. Kitts-Nevis). Evaluated long term care services in Mississippi Delta and in Cayo district of Belize. Worked with an NGO to evaluate community resources for homeless individuals in Northern VA.
