I have over seven years of work experience working on agricultural and community development programmes in area as capacity building and establishing commodity value chains implemented by international development agencies such as Opportunities Industrialization Centers International (OICI), ACDI/VOCA and USAID. At present, working as an Associate Consultant for Integrated Management Consult Ltd on consultancy services. Consultancy services executed in the past two years include the Programme Completion Report (PCR) of the GOG/IFAD Root and Tuber Improvement and Marketing Programme (RTIMP) implemented by MoFA, Ghana.
As Business facilitator, worked with PAB Development Consultants Ltd/ACDI/VOCA as Maize Commodity Value on the USAID/ADVANCE Programme as part of the USAID/ Feed The Future Initiative in the Upper East Region of Ghana from September, 2011 to October, 2012 and as Field Business Facilitator for three Commodity Value Chains (Seed Maize, Rice and Citrus) on the USAID/ADVANCE Programme in three Districts of the Central Region of Ghana from December, 2009 to August, 2011.
Also worked as a Community Development Officer for the Akyem Branch of Opportunities Industrialization Centers International (OICI) contracted by Newmont Ghana Gold Limited to implement its Mining for Sustainable Development program in 8 project-affected communities in the Birim North District, Eastern Region of Ghana from September, 2008 to January, 2009
I have experience working with youth associations, business groups, farmer groups and community micro enterprises, facilitating collaborative relationships among private and public sector organizations to achieve project objectives, experienced in monitoring and evaluating community-based development projects and skills in adult training and learning facilitation.
My career development goal is to pursue a PhD programme in Global Food Security.
