My name is Diana Najjuma, a 27 year old Ugandan living in Kampala. I am writing to express my interest in the volunteer positions available in your organization. I am a highly motivated, tolerant and dynamic individual with outstanding communication and organization skills. I'm a very sociable person who is always open to new experiences, cultures and meeting new different people with different backgrounds. I enjoy working with people and know how to deal with conflicts that may arise. I have as well a high interest in helping people, especially the poor and the needy. Every end of the month i give 10% of my salary to the sick in different hospitals. Being able to see someone smile, and knowing that I was a part of making them smile is more than winning a million dollars.
In 2015 i joined and started volunteering with Uganda Pioneer's Association and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have participated in various volunteer activities under this organization such as Organizing workshops or seminars to teach people on how to create small but productive businesses and how to recycle the local raw materials around their homes to make a living. I would now prefer to get involved with a long-term project which can last between 10-12 months
I am currently Tinosoft Limited for the last two and half years as a finance and Administrator Executive but Visiting orphans in different orphanages and the sick in different hospitals every month has changed my way of living, my character and my behavior. Each of these has given me a fulfillment no other job has given me so far. İ would love to take this passion to the next level and start doing it professionally. İ would like to be a part of something different, something that really matters.
I would be honored to be a part of an organization like this. After all as Dalai Lama once said " it is not enough to be compassionate, we must act".
I thank you for your time spent reading this Mail and I hope for a positive response.
