retired Physician Assistant who loves the outdoors and animals and I want to get fluent in Spanish
I worked as an elementary school teacher for a short time but really found my niche when I became a PA at age 39. I love science, I love helping people, I love exploring new cultures and travel.
Central America, South America, Europe, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala
I have medical skills but for my volunteering I would like more experience with gardening, or construction, or cooking healthy foods preferable vegetarian and I am very motivated to learn to speak Spanish.
I have done 4 medical missions - 3 in Haiti and 1 in Peru - and I went on a stove making mission with stone masons to Gatemala. Most of my volunteering has been short term but with my motivation to learn Spanish I think I need to stay for a few months.
