I will soon be graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering from NC State. I am Pakistani national and an American Citizen. I want you to remember me as a Pioneer.
Up until recently, I had been pursuing a career with a large engineering consulting company, hence my wide variety of experiences. After thinking about my purpose in this world further, I have decided that I will be I will be dedicating my career to rural development in South Asia. My engineering background has shaped me into a capable problem solver.
I want to promote entrepreneurship and believe that the people most qualified to build solutions for rural areas are members of those communities themselves. In my college experience, I have worked on 3 different startups. Two of which are my own. I also enjoy participating in Hack-a-thons, in fact my team and I won NC State's 2017 Sustainability Make-a-thon (https://sustainability.ncsu.edu/get-involved/events/makeathon/), and we are finalists for the 2017 LuLu Egames!
I relieve stress through the arts, specifically through poetry (improvised/written) and hip hop. I perform in regular slam poetry gatherings. I have been a featured artist for fundraiser concerts, and won this year's 2017 Technimetric Poetry Slam. I welcome you to look at my portfolio to understand my values.
Being a versatile leader is one of my best attributes. I welcome your inquiry, so please send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
I hope to hear from you soon!
