I'm Julia, I have 28 years old and I'm Architect. I'm Gallega, of north of Spain, but I have been living in Porto, Portugal, for 4 years.
I have worked in two studies of architecture in Porto, one of them is linked to the bioconstruction, subject in which I am very interested in this moment.
In addition to my work as an architect I made another type of work in festivals and grape harvest in France, Spain and Portugal. Also I've participated in cultural associations and other groups in my city, A Coruña, and Porto.
Currently I want increase my knowledge in bioconstrucción, traditional architecture and sustainable construction techniques, especially architecture whit earth, a subject on which I have some experience already.
I love to travel, meet people and experience new experiences, so I would like to make a volunteer, which also can learn and share my knowledge of architecture.

Participation as a volunteer in two projects in Mexico related to permaculture and bioconstruction.
January-February 2017 Volunteering for 15 days at the Jaguar Wood Association in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, carrying out a project to build a wooden geodesic dome for a music therapy space.
April 2017 - May 2017 Volunteering for a month and a half at the Ch'ul Ixim Project in Chiapas, Mexico, carrying out the project for the construction of a dry adobe bath in the indigenous community of San Jorge, Ocozocoautla, Chiapas. The project is part of the sustainable development project of the Ch'ul Ixim association, which takes place in this indigenous community, where they live with scarce resources, without water or electricity.
August 2016 Member of "Ecoteam" of the festival Boom, in Portugal. I work for 12 days in the team "Ecoteam", in charge of the festival to keep the spaces clean, as well as the work of recycling and sensitization to the participants.
WWOF in "Quinta Cabeza de Mato" , Portugal, where I did bioconstrucción activities and permaculture in a eco-farm. Ecoteam in the Boom festival, Portugal. Also I've participated for several years in cultural associations and other groups in my city, A Coruña, and Porto.
