I am a self motivated and results oriented individual who has a heart to serve in the communities around me.
I am a 28 year old gentleman of the Ganda tribe born in Masaka town south of Uganda. I am a Food Scientist by academic qualification and profession practice with more than three years work experience. I worked with Century Bottling Company (Coca Cola Uganda) as a Quality Controller and Food Technologist (Team Leader), respectively. I have majorly practiced in food industry settings, however I also have voluntary work experience in hospital settings and communities. I at one point volunteered as a nutritionist in Mulago National Referral Hospital; and while at the university, I supervised several voluntary projects under Lions Clubs International. I have great ambition for working with communities by sensitizing masses on food safety issues such as vended and home food hygiene, food security strategies, food value addition and sanitation. Therefore with the extensive knowledge, professional and leadership experience, and a heart to serve the less privileged; I long to be part of the Giving Way team.
