3 months in Colombo, Sri Lanka teaching English to children, young adults and adult monks in schools, care homes and community projects. Running therapeutic activities such as arts, crafts, yoga and games for children and adults with mental health problems and special educational needs (SLV Global).
1 year volunteering for a suicide hotline (Samaritans) in the UK.
3 years voluteering as a befriender to an elderly person with dementia in the UK (Alzheimer's Society).
