I'm a Bay Area native passionate about expanding my communities and perspectives through travel.. I'm currently a senior approaching graduation from Northwestern University in Chicago. After graduation, I'm backpacking around Southeast Asia with my close friend. I'm returning to San Francisco in the fall, where I'll start a job in technology consulting. I love traveling, and my travels greatly inform who I am. Prior to college, I spent several summers traveling with myself and friends throughout Europe, and staying both in the homes of European friends as well as hostels. Throughout college, I studied and worked abroad in Tel Aviv, London and Barcelona, and was also able to backpack through Colombia, attend a wedding in Delhi, and adventure with a group of friends in Cuba. I aspire to continue integrating travel, cultural exploration, and international community building into my lifestyle and career moving forward from college.

I love working with people, teaching and being with children. I also am happy working outside, painting, cooking and using my Spanish skills.
The three most consistent experiences I've held volunteering have been at DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) workshops, teaching health topics in inner city Chicago public high schools, and providing GED lessons and child care in a women's shelter.
