Mirjam and Elize reviewed by Mirjam Hijman
"We really loved helping at Kep Gardens! Me and my 10 years old daughter were at Kep gardens for almost 3 weeks in August. We were really so positive surprised by all kind of initiatives that are developed there to raise money and help the kids and local community. English Teaching, conversation lessons, a library, day care in the morning for the little ones, a garden to grow own food, a terrace (under construction) where it is planned to sell home made beverages en products form their own garden to tourists who visit the National Park near by, plans to house big groups and so on and on. Janine and Andrew are very much driven to help the local kids to get a better future and need your help and funding! For funding it is a good choice: we really think that their contribution to the area is big because the quality of teaching is very high and a lot of children learn to read and speak English every year. This is very good for their job opportunities since tourism is growing. But also helping at Kep gardens is a great choice: the program is situated beautifully near a national park in between rice feels. It is a very good project to go to with your family or as I did with children because of the variety of activities you can help with. Elize and I were very grateful we could help together at such a great project as Kep gardens! "

Helping people help themselves to Build a better Future reviewed by John Hayward
"I volunteered with Build Your Future Today Center in Siem Reap for 15 months in 2015-16 and continue to help when I can via the internet. It was one of the most rewarding periods of my life, working side by side with an incredibly dedicated team. They accomplish so much with so little in helping to lift villagers living in abject poverty in remote villages to the point where they are able to provide themselves and their children with the prospect of a brighter, sustainable future."
