Invaluable experience reviewed by sylvia wong
"I was with the JWOC team for 3 weeks in February this year to support the free English classes and it was such an invaluable experience in my life.

I knew JWOC since June 2016 when I was travelling to Siem Reap and met a scholarship student at a hotel restaurant, who shared with me how JWOC sponsored him for undergraduate studies - which has actually given him more opportunities to be self-sufficient and be able to work in the thriving hospitality industry in Cambodia. I was inspired and started to look into the good work JWOC has been giving to the Khmer community - with the idea of reducing poverty level through educations, and develop future leaders for tomorrow!

JWOC has a team of passionate teachers/co-workers, structured programs for the community/free classes/communications, transparent financial documents for the donations spent, as well as knowledgeable volunteers - mostly scholarship students who give their time back to the organisation on their free time.

The kids whom I served ranged from 6-15 years old and they normally come before/after their normal 3-hour public school classes. You will be inspired by how eager they are willing to learn, their innocence and how much they love to be at JWOC to spend time with the teachers and kids every day.

JWOC team - thank you for all of your love and effort made in the Cambodian community and making things happen!

Amazing Experience - Highly Recommended! reviewed by Wayne Mow
"I volunteered at the KNGO school for two weeks a number of years ago. It would have to be the most rewarding and fulfilling experience I've had so far. The students were amazing, very intelligent and eager to learn. I will never forget their bright smiling faces as they greeted me each day and their enthusiasm was addictive. Saveth was amazing too with all his support and help in making me feel welcome and supporting me in the teaching. I taught English as well as some Art classes which the students really enjoyed. I'd like to say a big THANK YOU to Saveth and the KNGO organization, students and teachers in giving me this opportunity to help, learn and share this experience with them by giving something back to those in need. My only regret is that I did not stay longer. W.Mow"
