Amazing Organization reviewed by Diel, Ashley Marie
"While I was studying abroad in Ghana, I had the opportunity to volunteer with MYN. I can say that the experience changed my life. I fell in love with the kids and they were open, extremely friendly and had a profound willingness to learn. Being in an area with poverty, a lot of the kids did not have the funds for school. However, through this amazing organization, MYN helps to provide scholarships to the kids so that they have the opportunity to an education and a better future. MYN works not only as an educational resource, but also a support system. The staff there works hard to make sure that the kids have every opportunity possible for a better life by providing scholarships and the materials needed for school such as pencils, notebooks, etc. The staff themselves are also amazing individuals. From the moment I met them, they treated me and the other volunteers like family. They helped us learn and understand their culture and were hospitable, even inviting us into their homes. I can say that volunteering at MYN taught me so much more then I could have ever anticipated. Working with the kids and the staff there has had a major impact on my life. Leaving at the end of my time there was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do, but I know that the staff and future volunteers will continue to have a huge influential impact on the lives of the children there. It is impossible to put into words just how much MYN means to me."

My experience with Abofra Foundation reviewed by Sylver
"Hello everyone! Syler is my name, I volunteered with my girlfriend(Karen) in March this year. We experienced alot, from food, culture, music and more. We learnt a new word "akwaaba" which means welcome in the local akan language. More importantly was the program we volunteered for "Abofra Disability Project". I recommend everyone to also volunteer!"
