My time abroad reviewed by Danny Mohler
"I had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Ghana in Accra. Right from the start I wanted to get involved. Three young men, Selorm, Romeo, and Daniel came and spoke to my study abroad group. I was sold right away. They spoke about the opportunity to teach and play with the children and more importantly make an inlact on the youth of Christian village. I volunteered twice a week once playing soccer with the boys of the MYN program and another teaching an after school lesson. I can honestly say this was the highlight of my entire time spent in Ghana. The enthusiasm and determination of the children is unmatched. Also the men running this program were there whenever I had questions or needed help. They have enormous hearts that are aimed at reaching an enormous goal. This time with MYN not only made my heart happy but provided me with work experience (teaching and fundraising) I've used in interviews and on resumes. If you are interested in changing lives and gaining valuable experience look no further than MYN. Feel free to reach out to me as well if you have any questions as well! "

My experience with Abofra Foundation reviewed by Sylver
"Hello everyone! Syler is my name, I volunteered with my girlfriend(Karen) in March this year. We experienced alot, from food, culture, music and more. We learnt a new word "akwaaba" which means welcome in the local akan language. More importantly was the program we volunteered for "Abofra Disability Project". I recommend everyone to also volunteer!"
