Warm and welcoming! reviewed by Audria Choudhury
"I was very much out of my element as a Bangladeshi American grad student when I joined HKI VN for my practicum, in a different country not knowing the language, but the staff here has been supportive from day one. The close-knit environment made me feel part of the team and the director kept me involved in project activities. While the language barrier kept me from being completely involved with implementation and data, I was still able to try a new analysis tool and go over questionnaires. The staff was always understanding of situations that arose, giving me time off as needed, and ready to help with any questions or concerns I'd have. "

An unforgettable volunteering with VCV. reviewed by Clayton Hornbaker
"Here at VCV I felt like a member of a family. I will remember my stay for the rest of my life, It was fantastic to be here for so long. Also I might add that the people of Hanoi are fabulous. Miss Hay is a wonderful person and great cook I might add. Every week there is something new going on around VCV. They have many great volunteers from all over the world. Meeting so many people from all walks of life was unbelievable, I would recommend anyone anytime to come visit VCV. I will visit again in fact every time I come back to Hanoi I plan to call Miss Hay before I arrive so she can prepare one of many favorite dishes she makes.
