We are a Non Profit Organization operating on Christian values to help educate, counsel, teach and mentor youth and women in the rural area in South Africa that we serve. We support rural schools through volunteer assistance while providing counselling to youth and women and running youth programs over weekends to promote positive interaction.
Although we are a Christian faith-based foundation, we warmly welcome volunteers from all faiths, religions and walks of life!

Vrygrond Youth Sports Development empowers underprivileged youth to be educated, involved in sports and partake in our life-skills, work-skills and rehabilitation programs to help them improve their lives, realise their potential and make an important break in the poverty cycle.

Sparrow Schools educates children with learning difficulties, disabilities and underprivileged children from Grade 1-7 in the community. We also have a Technical Skills High Schools as well as an FET College for disabled and disadvantaged youth .

Using Sport to create social change

We are an athletics academy with a difference and the only of its kind in the Helderberg.We use sport as a tool to bring social change because we firmly believe that sport has the power to change the community and its youth in a positive way by playing sports and teaching effective life skills.
