Volunteering Experience reviewed by Ana Sonkar
"My experience with the organization has not been good.
I volunteered for web development. I had to work from home.
During the period I was volunteering, they had been really good and polite with me but after the work was over and I forwarded all the files trusting them , my e-mails started to get ignored. When it came to certificate , they started ignoring my e-mails. Being a student , certificate or letter of appreciation is something which matters a lot. Today its around a year , I have not received any kind of certificate or letter of appreciation and also my previous mails have been left unresponsive. My efforts and time seem to be wasted.
I had been planning to volunteer again and also ask my friends to do the same so that it may help the organization to grow but this act has made me not to trust them again. It is really not expected from any good organization."

Great charity! reviewed by Mabel
"We really enjoyed our week teaching English with volunteering with India. Everything was very well organised. They picked us up from the train station, took us to and from the school and on our weekend of sightseeing. The guesthouse that comes with the volunteering was lovely. A welcoming, traditional Rajasthani family. It was a great way to immerse ourselves in their culture.

The work that the charity does is really important. They are helping so many young boys to have better lives and get a good education so that they don't have to work in factories or on the street. It was a great priveladge to be a part of the programme for just a week and to get to know all the teachers and the boys at the school.

It was an amazing experience, one that we would definitely do again. We we highly recommend this to others wanting to volunteer in India."
